Simplified

One interface to control everything — lighting, climate, security, entertainment, and more. Whole-home automation designed around the way you live.

Smart Home Integration

Everything Works Together

We integrate the industry's best platforms into one seamless experience. No more juggling apps — just effortless control.

One-Touch Control

Control your entire home from a single app, touchscreen, or voice command. Scenes like 'Good Night' handle everything automatically.

Intelligent Lighting

Lights that adjust to the time of day, your mood, or your activity. Automated scenes for morning, movie night, entertaining, and more.

Climate Automation

Smart thermostats that learn your schedule. Automated zoning, humidity control, and energy optimization throughout your home.

Security Integration

Your security system talks to your automation. Cameras, locks, lights, and sensors all work together for complete protection.

Entertainment Unified

Music, TV, and streaming services accessible from every room. One remote, one app, zero confusion.

Custom Scenes

Create personalized scenes for any moment — 'Movie Night' dims lights and drops shades, 'Welcome Home' sets the perfect ambiance.

What automation actually does

A smart home isn't a drawer full of apps. It's one system that runs your lighting, shades, climate, music, TVs, locks, cameras and alarm together, so the house responds to how you live rather than waiting for you to tap six screens. Eagle Sentry has designed, installed and supported home technology in Las Vegas since 1984. Our own team handles the programming, and we never use subcontractors. The goal is simple: the system should be easier to live with than the switches it replaced.

A day in an automated home

  • 6:30 a.m. The bedroom shades rise partway. The lights in the primary bath come up at a soft, warm level instead of full brightness. The kitchen lights follow when you walk in.
  • 8:15 a.m. You leave. A single "Away" scene from your phone, or automatically when the last phone leaves the geofence, turns off the lights you forgot, sets back the thermostat, closes the garage and arms the alarm. If a door was left unlocked, you get a notification and can lock it from the driveway.
  • 1:00 p.m. The afternoon sun hits the west glass. The shades on that side lower on their own to cut glare and heat and to protect floors and furniture from UV. You didn't have to think about it.
  • 4:30 p.m. The landscaper rings the video doorbell. You see who it is, talk to them, and unlock the side gate for ten minutes from your office across town.
  • 6:00 p.m. You pull in and press "Welcome Home." The entry and kitchen lights come on, the alarm disarms, and your evening playlist starts in the kitchen and on the patio.
  • 8:30 p.m. "Movie Night" dims the family room, lowers the shades, turns on the TV and sound system to the right input, and quiets the music elsewhere in the house.
  • 10:45 p.m. One button by the bed, or one voice command, runs "Good Night." Every door locks, the garage closes, exterior lights set to their overnight level, and the alarm arms in stay mode. If something is still open, the keypad tells you which door.
  • 2:00 a.m. If the alarm ever trips, the system can turn every light on full and start camera recording. The event goes straight to Rapid Response, our 24/7 monitoring partner, and local guard response is dispatched through Green Valley Security when the alarm needs it.

None of these scenes is canned. We program them around your routines, and we adjust them after you've lived with the system for a while.

Choosing a platform: an honest comparison

We are authorized dealers for Crestron, Control4, Savant and Josh.ai, and we build on Lutron for lighting and shades. Each platform is good at something different, so we recommend based on the home, not on a preference of ours.

  • Control4: A dealer-programmed platform that works with a very wide range of devices, with a clean interface and a solid mobile app. It is a strong fit for homes that want whole-home control without a fully custom build.
  • Crestron: Crestron Home is Crestron's residential platform: a standard interface on touch panels, keypads and the app, which we set up around your rooms and scenes. For very large or highly custom estates, Crestron can also be fully custom-programmed, with no practical ceiling on size or complexity and every interaction built exactly your way. A custom build takes more design and programming time, which is reflected in the cost.
  • Savant: Built around a polished, design-forward interface that feels familiar to Apple users. It is popular with homeowners who care most about how the system looks and feels day to day.
  • Josh.ai: A privacy-first platform built around natural voice control. It understands context, so "turn off the lights" knows which room you're in, and it integrates with Crestron, Lutron and the rest of the home. It is the platform Eagle Sentry leads with for new installations.

We start with how you want to live in the home, not with a brand. For most new installations we lead with Josh.ai for voice control and Lutron for lighting and shades. Crestron Home fits homes that want Crestron's standard interface set up around their rooms and scenes, fully custom-programmed Crestron fits very large or highly custom estates, Savant suits owners who want the most polished, design-first app, and Control4 gives broad whole-home control without a fully custom build.

What drives the cost

The biggest variables are the platform, how many rooms and subsystems are included, whether the home is new construction or a retrofit, the number of motorized shades, and the lighting-control approach (standard smart dimmers or tunable lighting such as Ketra). Networking also matters: every automated device depends on it, so a professionally designed network is part of any serious project. After a free walkthrough, we give you a written proposal with scoped equipment and labor, not a range.

New construction pre-wire vs. retrofit

Building new? Bring us in before drywall. We join during design, coordinate cable routes with your architect and electrician, pre-wire at rough-in, photograph the walls before they close, and return for trim-out and programming. That is the cheapest time to run wire for shades, speakers, keypads, cameras and access points. We also recommend wiring locations you may not use on day one. Eagle Sentry works with valley builders including Blue Heron, Christopher Homes and Tri Pointe.

Already living in the home? Retrofit is very doable. We survey what's behind the walls, decide what can be wireless and what needs new wire, and can phase the work room by room. One thing we often find in older Las Vegas homes is switch boxes without neutral wires, which affects the choice of smart dimmers. We plan around it rather than discovering it on install day.

Built for desert conditions

Heat, dust and summer power spikes are hard on electronics. We plan ventilated equipment locations (never the garage), sealed or shaded outdoor enclosures, battery backup and surge protection, so the system stays up when it matters.

Automation Questions

Which smart home platforms do you work with?+
Eagle Sentry is an authorized dealer for Lutron, Crestron, Josh.ai, Savant and Control4. We recommend the platform that fits your home, how you want to control it and your budget, rather than forcing one brand on every project.
Can I still use regular switches and my phone?+
Yes. Keypads, handheld remotes, touch panels, voice and the app all control the same system. Guests don't need to learn anything.
What happens if the internet goes down?+
Your home keeps working. Keypads, remotes, touch panels, scenes and schedules run on the system's own controller inside the house, so lights, shades and AV still respond. Voice control and using the app away from home need the internet, and they come back as soon as the connection does. Your alarm sends signals over cellular, so it still reaches monitoring.
Can you automate the home I already have?+
Usually, yes. We review what's installed first. If existing wiring is sound, we reuse it. Where it isn't, we plan wireless or phased options.
Will it work with my alarm system?+
Integration with security is a core part of what we do. Arming "Good Night" can lock doors and close the garage, and an alarm can turn on lights and start recording. If your current panel is roughly ten years old or older, it may not support modern integration, and we'll tell you honestly.
Who supports the system after installation?+
We do. The same local company that designed and programmed your system handles service, programming changes and upgrades. Many issues can be fixed remotely without a visit, and for larger systems we offer maintenance agreements with scheduled check-ups.
How long does a project take?+
It depends on the scope. A single room or a lighting upgrade is a much shorter project than a whole-home system, which we often do in phases. New construction follows your builder's schedule: we pre-wire at rough-in and return for trim-out and programming near the end. Your written proposal includes the schedule before anything starts.
Is it better to plan automation during new construction?+
Yes, the earlier the better. Cable runs, conduit, shade power and keypad locations decided before drywall determine what the home can do for the next twenty years. Many systems can also be retrofitted into existing homes, and a design consultation will tell you what is practical in yours.
