How much does a home security or smart home system cost?+
Every home is different, so we quote after a walkthrough rather than from a price list. Professionally monitored security starts with our Silver plan at $49.99 per month, Gold at $69.99 and Platinum at $89.99. Smart home projects range from a single room of lighting control to whole-estate automation, so the design consultation is where we scope the work and give you a firm number. The consultation itself is free and there is no obligation.
What areas around Las Vegas do you serve?+
Eagle Sentry covers Las Vegas, Henderson, Summerlin, North Las Vegas, Boulder City and Spring Valley, plus surrounding Southern Nevada communities. We are a local company operating out of one office on East Patrick Lane, not a national franchise routing your call elsewhere.
How soon will someone get back to me?+
Within one business day. Submissions are routed automatically to the right team the moment they arrive: new projects go to a design consultant, service issues go to our service coordinators, and billing questions go straight to accounting. Our office is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Monitoring runs 24/7/365.
I already have a security system from another company. Can you take it over?+
Usually, yes. We do not build on another company's components, so a design consultant will come out and review your current setup before recommending a path forward. In most cases we install our own equipment and monitoring while reusing existing wiring where it is sound, which keeps the work and the cost down.
Do you work with builders and new construction?+
Yes, and the earlier the better. Eagle Sentry is a technology partner to Blue Heron, Christopher Homes, Tri Pointe and other Las Vegas builders. The decisions made before drywall — cable runs, conduit, shade power, speaker locations — determine what the home can do for the next twenty years, so bring us in during the pre-wire phase if you can.
Is my existing system worth repairing or should I replace it?+
That depends on age and platform. Panels roughly ten years and older often cannot be updated for current monitoring standards or integrated with modern automation, in which case replacement costs less over time than repeated service calls. A technician can tell you honestly which situation you are in. Service is billed at $165 per hour with a one-hour minimum, or $250 after hours.
What is the fastest way to reach you about an emergency?+
Call (702) 736-8880. For an active break-in, fire or carbon monoxide alarm, always call rather than using this form — the form is checked during business hours, while emergency monitoring is staffed continuously. If you are in immediate danger, dial 911 first.
