Smart TVs, cameras, thermostats, speakers, locks, shades, and more — all running simultaneously without lag or dropped connections.

Remote Management

Cloud-managed networking lets us monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot your network remotely. Issues resolved before you even notice them.

Enterprise vs. Consumer

Why Consumer Wi-Fi Fails at Scale

Las Vegas luxury homes present unique networking challenges: 5,000–15,000+ sqft floor plans, stucco-and-wire-lath exterior walls that block RF signals, pool houses and casitas separated from the main structure, and 100–500 connected smart devices demanding simultaneous bandwidth. Consumer mesh simply wasn't built for this.

Wired Backbone

Cat6A to every access point

Each Ubiquiti access point connects back to your network switch via dedicated Cat6A cabling — delivering full gigabit speeds without the 30–50% loss that wireless mesh backhaul introduces at every hop. This is the single biggest difference between enterprise and consumer Wi-Fi.

Proper AP Placement

RF survey-driven design

We don't guess. Our RF site survey maps signal propagation through your specific walls, ceilings, and outdoor areas. Access points are ceiling-mounted at calculated positions for optimal coverage overlap — not plugged into a hallway outlet and hoped for the best.

Network Segmentation

VLANs + firewall rules

Your security cameras, IoT devices, guest network, and personal devices each run on isolated VLANs. A compromised smart thermostat can't reach your personal files. Guest devices get internet access without seeing your internal network. This is standard enterprise practice that consumer routers can't replicate.

Our Process

How We Build Your Network

01

Site Survey

We walk your property with professional RF analysis tools, mapping signal strength through every wall and floor. We identify interference sources (neighboring networks, appliances) and document exact access point locations.

02

Design & Proposal

You receive a detailed network map showing access point placement, cable runs, switch location, and VLAN architecture. We spec the exact Ubiquiti hardware — Dream Machine Pro, PoE switches, and the right AP model for each location.

03

Install & Cable

Our low-voltage team runs Cat6A cabling to each access point location, terminates everything in a clean network rack, and ceiling-mounts access points. In existing homes, we use cable-fishing techniques to minimize drywall cuts.

04

Configure & Monitor

We configure VLANs, firewall rules, Wi-Fi networks (including a separate guest network), and cloud management. After handoff, we monitor your network remotely and push firmware updates automatically.

Every installation includes post-install validation testing — we verify signal strength in every room and run bandwidth tests before we consider the job complete.

Wi-Fi FAQs

Networking Questions

Why do consumer mesh systems fail in large Las Vegas homes?+
Consumer mesh routers (Eero, Google Wifi, Orbi) rely on wireless backhaul — each node repeats the signal wirelessly, losing 30–50% of bandwidth at every hop. In a 5,000+ sqft home with stucco-and-wire-lath walls common in Las Vegas construction, the signal degrades rapidly. Enterprise systems use wired backhaul to each access point, delivering full bandwidth everywhere.
How many access points does my home need?+
It depends on square footage, wall construction, and floor count. A typical 4,000 sqft single-story Las Vegas home needs 3–4 access points. A 10,000+ sqft multi-story estate may need 8–12. We determine the exact count through an on-site RF survey that maps signal propagation through your specific walls and layout.
What is a wireless site survey and why does it matter?+
A site survey uses professional RF analysis tools to measure signal strength, interference sources, and channel congestion throughout your property. It tells us exactly where to place access points for optimal coverage and where wired drops are needed. Skipping this step is the #1 reason Wi-Fi installations underperform — we never skip it.
Can you upgrade my Wi-Fi without running new wires?+
Sometimes, but the results won't match a properly wired installation. If your home has existing Cat5e or Cat6 cabling, we can often repurpose it for access point connections. If not, we run new Cat6A cabling with minimal drywall disruption. For truly wireless-only situations, Ubiquiti's wireless backhaul is far superior to consumer mesh, but wired is always the gold standard.
Do you provide ongoing network management after installation?+
Yes. Every Eagle Sentry network is cloud-managed through Ubiquiti's UniFi controller. We monitor performance, push firmware updates, and can diagnose issues remotely — often resolving problems before you even notice them. If you add new devices or change your layout, we can adjust access point configurations without a site visit.
