Tom and Karen's Home at Lake Las Vegas

This home shows what a system that grows with the family looks like.

It started with what Tom and Karen chose while Blue Heron was building the house. Once they were living in it, they kept adding: bigger TVs, another shade and full alarm monitoring. Now the whole home runs from their phones and touch screens.

What we installed

Savant smart home control

Lights, shades, music, TVs and thermostats from a phone or a touch screen.

Lutron lighting control

Engraved keypads, plus LED accent lighting.

Lutron motorized shades

Tied into Savant with everything else.

Music and a media room

Music in six rooms, plus a surround-sound media room.

Video door entry, cameras and Wi-Fi 7

Designed into the house during construction.

Added after they moved in

Three Samsung TVs

Including a 100" in the media room and an 85" Frame in the great room with a Savant soundbar.

A matching blackout shade

In the primary bath, tied into Savant with the rest of the shades.

More Wi-Fi coverage

Added once the family was living in the home.

24/7 alarm monitoring

With a touch screen in the primary bedroom and recording for the cameras.
